Marvel has finally dropped the Spider-Man Far From Home trailer. Fans erupted all over social media about this movie and what this could mean for Avengers: Endgame. No matter your view on which actor is the best Spider-Man, we can all agree that this rendition of the famous wall-crawler will bring excitement and fun to the silver screen.

Last week, Tom Holland, the actor who plays Peter Parker/Spider-Man for the Marvel Cinematic Universe teased fans with a tweet.

Many disregarded the tweet believing that Holland as simply appeasing an impatient yet excited fan. However, the day before the trailer released Holland sent out this cryptic tweet.

Sony even responded with a simple hand-waving emoji. Of course, Twitter exploded, wondering what this could mean. Some even (playfully) accused Holland of stirring the pot and getting everyone excited for nothing. The following day, the trailer was released.

Plot:

Nick Fury Spider-Man Far From Home trailer
Sony Pictures Entertainment

The trailer does it best to showcase what to expect from the movie while also keeping quiet on any potential Avengers: Endgame spoilers. That doesn’t stop the trailer from showing off some familiar faces. From the beginning, we see Happy, a well-known bodyguard for Tony Stark/Ironman speaking with Peter and his Aunt May. Though we see Peter Parker wearing the suit, the trailer highlights the fact that Parker wants to have fun with his friends on a school trip.

However, it seems wherever the wall-crawler goes, trouble always follows. Even though your friendly-neighborhood Spider-Man isn’t in the neighborhood at the moment, he will still always fight to protect the little guys. Nick Fury, a face we haven’t seen since Avengers: Age of Ultron (not counting Captain Marvel because her film is set in the 90s) visits Parker to help save the world.

The trailer seems to have a sprinkle of everything, teen romance, school trip, wholesome family moments, big action sequences, and even mystical powers from the few moments we see of Mysterio. This film promises a lot of surprises and thrilling moments that we’ve come to expect from a Marvel film. Hopefully, it will deliver.
